Arrive at the airport of Beijing. Your private guide of Easy Tour China will greet you at the exit of Arrival Hall & transferred to your hotel in downtown Beijing. Free for the rest of the day. Alternatively explore China's royal capital on your own.
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square first. It is the largest city square in the world, where solemn ceremonies of raising/lowering the national flag in every morning or sunset time are held here. Then go to the Forbidden City. Standing in the center of Beijing, it is protected by high walls and a moat on all four sides and consists of dozens of halls and courtyards. Admire one of world's most legenary ancient royal palaces and the treasures kept on display. At last, pay a visit to the Summer Palace, Qing’s Imperial rulers’ favorite summer residence. UNESCO inscribed Summer Palace a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1998. A dragon boat cruie is recommended if the weather is good.

Private escorted tour to the Great Wall at Badaling section, a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China and a symbol of China's history and heritage. Badaling Great Wall is the best-preserved and the most popular section of Great Wall. Then go to Chang Tomb, the tomb for Emperor Yongle, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1683), and his wife Empress Xu. Chang is an underground tomb, the first and the largest of the Ming tombs and reflects a similar conception of Imperial architecture. At the top of Chang Tomb, visitors can have a look of the other 12 Ming Tombs.
Connected with the tombs, Sacred Road used to be regarded as "the way leading to Heaven". The highlights are the 12 pairs of animal stone sculptures, including lions (symbol of power), xie-zhi (symbol of justice), qi-lin (ky-lin, Chinese unicorn), elephant (symbolizing auspices and peace), camel (symbol of transportation), and horse (standing for expedition), and 12 human stone sculptures, including military officers, civil officials, ministers of merit. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then drive to visit Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation. Today, there are many public activities and performances are held in the park. Afterwards, meander down to the nearby hutongs. Hutongs are unique street design in Beijing and regarded as a window into Beijing folk life. Take afternoon high speed train from Beijing to Xi'an. Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum in the morning, which is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20th century, and a UNESCO World Heritage. Drive back to downtown area and visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, it was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang and now becomes the city emblem. Then have a visit for the exterior of Bell Tower and Drum Tower, the symbol of Xi'an and of significant importance in Xian history.

In the morning, visit to the Ancient City Wall of Xian, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China. You may have a bike trip on the city walls (optional and on your own expense) and experience the old and modern Xian. Take flight to Shanghai. Be met and transfer to your hotel. The rest of time today is your own arrangement to explore the vitality and vibrancy of Shanghai.

Shanghai highlight city trip -- Firstly, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with the height of 468 meters. Secondly, Yu Garden, with 400 years' history, this private garden features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Thirdly, the Bund and Nanjing Road: The Bund is the famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. Then Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street in Shanghai. Lastly, the former French Concession, a pedestrian street composed of traditional street format of Shanghai Shikumen and modern development.
